Rehabilitation / Replacement of Five Cross Bronx Expressway (I-95) Bridges between Boston Road and Rosedale Avenue, Bronx County

The project seeks to preserve the life of five (5) bridges on I-95, the Cross Bronx Expressway (CBE), address safety deficiencies and improve east-west connectivity between Boston Road and Rosedale Avenue in Bronx County New York. The four (4) existing bridges carrying the mainline CBE over various roadways and facilities and the Exit 4A ramp over West Farms Road will be replaced and the bridge carrying Boston Road over the CBE will be rehabilitated to address structural and safety deficiencies. A new direct ramp from southbound Bronx River Parkway to the westbound CBE will also be constructed to improve local roadway congestion and safety.
